Lead Vinyl Technician
Director Of Sales
After being away, Scott is seriously overjoyed to be back in the sign industry. A recent addition to the Night Owl Graphics team, he has come full circle – 25 years ago, he gave Kim her first job in the sign biz!
Scott graduated from The University of Pittsburgh and began in the ad department of the nation’s leading retail toy chain. Three years later, having risen through the ranks to become Advertising Production Manager, he left to join his wife in opening their own sign shop. They started out designing print ads and producing signs and vehicle graphics for local businesses. They soon found themselves designing logos and corporate I.D. packages (today, we’d call it branding) for large scale commercial property managers, regional chains and franchises, and ultimately Fortune 100 companies.
When his only child reached school age, Scott opted for a lifestyle change and embarked on a second career as a public school teacher. Now that twenty-plus years have passed, he is again making a change. This time to return to his roots in the sign industry. As an almost retired high school math teacher, Scott is back “playing in the sandbox” once again.
Scott can be found in his off time relaxing with family and friends or running, swimming, biking, gardening, painting, doing carpentry, or family road tripping. When time allows, he runs some more.
